*temporary FIX that worked for me and a couple more guys*
Not sure if I'm allowed to copy paste but here you go:
Game crashes everytime your GPU gets stressed or pulls more power (don't know the proper wording), the game hasn't crashed for a whole day when I turned vsync on @ 75 Hz. The only thing is, Vsync introduces mouse input lag, so I am going to test Vsync off but limiting my fps to 75 with MSI afterburner.
What im guessing is if you have a good monitor (144Hz) and vsync on, it's still going to crash because 144fps is enough to stress your gpu and crash your game. Try limiting it to 75-80, I know it sucks but so far that's the only thing that worked for me really.
EDIT: It's been days without a crash.
***TL;DR: limit your fps to 75 with RivaTuner or some other program, EDIT*disable vsync in game for no mouse input lag) - VegasGFX7 years agoNot applicable
okay, the last few days I crashed every 3-4 games without any error. I have the feeling that it is getting worse, today I had only a handful of games without crashing. Currently I get every game a crash, at random times.I really do not feel like it anymore, it's wasted time.I do not enjoy the game because I always have to be afraid of a freeze/crash ...
I tried all "fixes" nothing helped me.
Please wor on a FIX!

I'm thinking of quitting too. It looks like they'll probably come after a week and say "The game crashes because of X part of your hardware" and I'm not very eager to fix what isn't broken.
If the problem is with the game and they patch it, awesome. I'll keep playing and spending loads of money. But for now, I'm really not hopeful. It's sad because there is no other Battle Royale that caught my attention and I hate all of them. - Oniix1767 years agoNot applicable
People please read #403 , I'm spamming this topic but I feel like people are missing it, it might work for you.

Thanks for the tip, but that is not a realistic fix for me.
I have a brand new rig and get over 150+ FPS on max settings in games like PUBG and COD BO.
The fact that I would need to limit my FPS so much to run a game isnt worth it.

I would try that fix but the input lag is really annoying in such a fast-paced shooter like Apex Legends. I'm one of those quick trigger finger cowboys who like to flick shot people and do fast plays. I tried playing many shooters with vsync on and I think most people hate it just like I do.
It may be a fix if anyone is willing to try it and is really desperate to play the game, but I think I'll just wait for the patch. - Oniix1767 years agoNot applicable
Yeah,I get you dude... I have a potato monitor so 150 or 75 Hz, doesn't make a difference. I'm really hoping for a fix.

Thats why you disable vsync in game, but limit your fps with RivaTuner. No input lag.
