The problem is 2-fold from what I see, EA has not requested the correct version of Easy Anti-cheat to support Apex for the Windows 11 OS. Epic might or might not have it ready as I have put a ticket in with them and they have not answered it.
Well, the recent post I made was not correct.
Here is the fix that worked for me:
well F^% me.. i found the fix...
when and if you update to windows 11
opens settings, search for 'Controlled Folder access'
and then add Apex and Easy Anti-cheat
Too bad EA couldn't figure it out after multiple tickets and 2 months of wait time

Wish that worked for me in Windows 11, but controlled folder access wasn't enabled. I tried turning it on and adding EAC and Apex as Allowed App but that didn't work either. Same launch but no launch issue as you.
Win 11
i9 12900 KF
RTX 3080
32gb DDR 5 6000mhz
Kingston 2tb PCIe4x4/NVMe, SSD
I guess Apex is 'old' by today's standards... Next! >>>>
- 3 years ago@NWeSource An update on Thursday has made this issue crop up again, but it's not tied to OS -- people reporting it on W7/8/10/11. There's a pinned post on this forum that's tracking it but still no resolutions from EA.

I have also ran into this issue. Possibly from the most recent update. I tried contacting the EA HELP group but no one was able to help. I have done everything under the sun to solve this - nothing works.

@NWeSourceSame issue since like last week, definitely not going to do anything else as the issue is on their end. Tried DDU, rolling back updates, repair EAC, moved to steam, disabled onboard gpu, disabled hardware gpu scheduling, disabled REBAR to test + a lot more. Apex tries to open, hangs in task manager at 240ishMB ram usage and then closes out. Interesting issue but not at all surprising with such an extremely buggy and broken game. Maybe they will get it right with the next major release but I'm not holding by breath. EDIT I have similar hardware as you so maybe it has something to do with the little/big architecture > 12700k on DDR4 with a 3060.
