apex matchmaking stuck in "processing"

Basically whenever I try to find a game , it doesn't go into "Matchmaking" it just says "Processing", or from my party members' perspective, "Party member preprocessing". Any info I find online on how to fix it is either to just restart the game, check file integrity, reinstall the game or try to go into the firing range first, all of which I have tried and don't work. I have a good internet connection and hardware, so I do not believe that the problem is on my side. Is this some known issue? Also, I was able to play perfectly fine a couple months ago. Any help would be great.
