@PikachuRuns @LordAwozI might have a solution for you guys. I've had this happen at the beginning of this season as well.

@swift07 I opened up that profile.cfg and I'm missing the first setting that he mentions (miles_occlusion). I've never changed any of this stuff before, I just play the game. Maybe this is part of my problem XD Will try this out and provide an update. It's odd that I'm missing something. Steam supposedly validated all of my files. Wonder what other stuff is different.

Edit: There's another setting called "sound_without_focus". The guy in the YT vid shows his is on "0" while mine is on "1". That definitely sounds like our issue. @LordAwoz Maybe try changing this?

@PikachuRuns I had the exact same issue you guys were describing. I could only hear in front of me and 90 degrees to both sides, but I could not hear the other 180 degrees behind me. When I came across that video, I was like you...why is this missing? Why couldn't the game already have this in this file? But after I changed it, it helped.
