Audio too quiet in Apex Legends
Hi, Im really new to this so I don't really know what to say. But my problem is that my in game audio is really quiet, I'm not talking about foot steps or anything in particular, but just in general....

Community ManagerHey @pledgedpluto and @jokwax I know that there have been a couple of issues that some users have seen with 7.1 headsets.
Let's try the following, can you open your APEX Legends config file which should be found at C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg.
Once done can you scroll down till you find "sound_num_speakers." If this says 8 then it is already set for surround sound but if it is showing 2 then it means that you are only getting stereo and need to change it to an 8.
Once you have done this you need to open your windows audio settings by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray and in your settings turn on "7.1 virtual surround sound."

@EA_Darko i have the same problem but i can't change my headphones to anything or configure them in the settings? Do you have any solutions?
