Been lagging terribly

Sometime ago apex was running fine and connection seemed to be stable with the occasional red symbols,

however, our internet was accidentally disconnected and the occasional black outs.

After that the game had been lagging real bad. (idk if its solely server issue)

The prediction lag seems to always appear, along with the latency symbol and the occasional packet loss.

1.) Ive tested some of the games on my steam and they seem to have fine connectivity

2.) Tried updating Nvidia servers, no use.

3.) Uninstalling, reinstalling, verifying, changing drives and no result

4.) fiddling with the video settings and Nvidia Control Panel gave no conclusion

5.) Flushed DNS, restarted ra

  • @g1g2_mozo Being a console player I'm not on Origin or Steam & still suffer from the same high ping scenario as yourself so I don't think the problem/or problems are exclusively on one system or even one console or PC.It seems that the probelems/issues are multi-faceted rather than just one big problem.Another commentor had a great point when they mentioned how much bigger the game has become compared to the first few seasons (more characters, bigger maps, more events etc) & yet the game is still operating under the same game & server limitations & is effectively buckling at the seams). The introduction of cross-play in season 6 has also brought it's issues as for example where a player with a high-spec PC on a 200hz monitor can be playing against a player on a PS4 with a 50hz tv etc effectively everyone can be playing with different capabities & limitations with no optimal level playing field.

It's certainly the same for me with regards to playing Arenas where performance issues are less problematic & trouble-free compared to BR mode.
  • I have 30ms, 165 FPS. I have reinstalled it, added exceptions to my firewall, added ports to my router, changed my DNS settings, deleted all my config files to reset my in-game settings, checked for packet loss (zero btw) yet after all this the issue remains and the game is literally unplayable until half the players in the game are dead and then like magic all the lag just goes away. This all started happening a few days ago.

It's something up because it makes my voice chat in-game go laggy as well, and nobody else but me is lagging but I just have no idea what or how or why.

Has anyone else experienced this/managed to fix this?

    System Specs:

    Windows 10 64bit

    RTX 2080 Ti

    i7-8700K 3.7 GHz CPU

    16GB Ram

I'm on a wired connection, 350MB internet. Every other game etc. runs perfectly.
