Can't launch apex from EA desktop

i made an decision to switch from steam to EA Desktop to play Apex Legends, i uninstalled apex from steam, and i installed EA Desktop with apex legends Now im trying to launch apex, but it only says...

    This solved my problem.

    How do I clear the cache on my EA desktop?
    If you can't open the EA app, you can also follow these steps to clear your cache.
    Open the Start menu.
    Find EA and click the downward arrow to expand.
    Select App Recovery.
    A confirmation window will pop up.
    Click Clear Cache.

I had the same problem but for me to clear the cache (maybe they have changed the way to do it now?) I had to:

1. Go to the start menu

2. Type EA

3. Open file location

4. Run "App Recovery"

5. Clear cache

This did not fix the problem though, I had to stop the EA Background Service from the Task Manager to be able to get it up and running.

I hope this could help someone with the same problem.
