Hi There,
I've been playing Apex Legends for 8+ months now and never had an issue crashing before. There was an issue with no reg's and a patch came out. Upon downloading the patch - i can't go more than 2-3 minutes in a game with out seeing the error "Connection to server time out (code:net). See ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information." - attached a screenshot of the error message.
Steps I've taken with no success to fixing the issue:
- gone from wifi to a hardwire connection
- deleted the app on the PS4 and re-downloaded
- shut the ps4 down completely and removed power source then plugged back in
This same screen / error message populates whether im in the front screen, the firing range, or in a game. Also, there is a progress bar in the upper left-hand corner below "open season hub" that says "HD Texture Downloading ... 54%". The number never grows any larger than 54% through all of my download and re-download attempts. I have not switched internet providers. I have not changed anything on my end. I just don't understand how i can have a game that works perfectly with my connection for 8 months then doesnt...
I love this game. I am not quite sure what steps I should take to fix this. Any help would be very much appreciated. I can provide any information or tests you need to help me with this. Just want to get back into the game please!
