Can not hear friends in cross plat chat lobby.
I am trying to play with a friend who is on ps4 i am on xbox. but i can not hear him in the lobby. it shows his mic, that he is speaking, but i can not hear him and he can not hear me.
Next day with a PC restart and still having the issue.

Same i cant hear my friends in lobby but in the game it works fine!
I'm on PC and starting yesterday, both using the Steam and the Origin launcher, I can no longer voice chat in the lobby at all. Not cross platform either, just PC -> PC. I restart my computer every day and I've been using the same headset for 3 seasons with no issue until a couple of days ago
It’s worked when in a lobby and pc player backs out and invites to his own lobby.. done succesfully twice now
A lot of people have been having this issue but I can’t hear the Xbox players if I squad up with them. I either can barely hear what they say or it says their mics are open like they are constantly talking but no sound is to be heard. I think this audio glitch was supposed to be fixed but it definitely wasn’t. Just figured I’d put this here since it’s been going on for a while and not many people seem to be addressing it on Twitter and other platforms.

What happens when the bug occurs? Me and my friends friend cant hear or talk to me, and I cant do the same to them.
What should be happening instead? all party members should be able to hear eachother
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know. all over the internet I haven't seen anyone with similar problem.
when ever I play with my friend (who uses a PlayStation 4) we can talk using the in game chat, but whenever he brings a friend (either on Xbox One or PlayStation 4) I cant hear the friend and they cant hear me. Again my friend and i can talk normally, but their friend and I cant communicate. this happens ever time in game and in lobby. It has fixed itself sometimes, where suddenly after a loading screen we can talk but most of the time it never works. I have tried logging out, becoming party host, unplugging headphones, and restarting my Xbox One.
I am on PlayStation and I am unable to hear Xbox players when I am playing with them. I haven’t tried to squad up with an Xbox player and I mostly play with Random’s.
I've never had issues with any other crossplay games voice chat, but Apex has been insanely terrible lately with it not working. Not only in lobby, but in the game itself. We spent hours trying to fix, restart, etc. Specifically was playing with two PC players I'm friends with (I'm xbox) and i could hear one but not the other. They could both hear each other, we made multiple parties each trying to remedy but each time no matter what, two of us could talk and the third could hear but noone could hear them and it would alternate from person to person. (noone was muted or had mics off, all nice quality headsets, and good connections with all updates.)
