Does Apex LEgends not like overlays?

Hi @EA_Ryan, the Origin's overlay doesn't work for me and for a friend as well. We tried everything, we ran the game on fullscreen and bordeless, deactivated the rivatuner, and we got nothing. Please, help us.

@SHiiiMMY Can you try a Clean Boot, and just launch the game without any 3rd party software, and see if you have any overlay issues.

Can I check if you run Discord? Disabling that as a test may help.

I played it with discord but I let the discord's overlay turned off. I'll try to make it again as soon as I get home from work. Thanks

when discord overlay is active on apex legends it causes a glitch where the cursor doesn't disappear/enter the game when playing which causes you to not be able to look around and or move your mouse when in first person. It also occurred with the geforce experience overlay but only once the discord overlay is what mainly causes the issue and warrants closing the game then disabling the overlay for Apex Legends before relaunching it

Easy Anti Cheat sees these as an cheats and just blocks them - from Afterburner to some pre installed software on PCs like ASUS ones that helps with RGB(Aura) everything like that Is just being blocked by that anti cheat. Its not games problem.

Apex is native to Origin

There are already in-game features for the overlay

I understand with 3rd party software like steam & discord, but not Origin
