Engine Error - Couldn't Initialize Sound

After the legacy update, I receive this error on startup of apex. I am running the game from the EA launcher. Does anyone have suggestions on a fix?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It seems to be working fine now

Every time I try to open Apex I get this error:

@Ballsjerk I know.The reason for this is because of the character voice file.You only need to go to apex / audio / ship. The specific file depends on your game language settings. If you are not clear, please delete all the files, then go to apex property to check the integrity of the files, and then start playing!
