  • Heya @S4ndgreen

It's possible that some files from the game get corrupted from time to time, resulting in a crash you're seeing here.

To make sure this doesn't happen again, you'll need to delete the file in question and repair the game files via the game launcher you're using.

Let's start with deleting this file in question:

You'll need to navigate to the main directory of Apex, you can get there by following these guides depending on what platform you're using:

    Steam

    1. Go to your library and right click Apex Legends
    2. Click on "properties"
    3. Go to "installed files"
    4. Click on "Browse"

    EA App

    1. Go to your library and click on Apex Legends
    2. Click on the "Manage" button
    3. Click on "View Properties"
    4. Click on "Browse"

Now that you're in the main directory, we'll have to move to the specific directory that this file is located in.

Let's follow these steps to get to this specific file and delete it:

    1. Go to the materials folder
    2. Go to the correction folder
    3. Use the search function in the top right to search for "ability_hunt_mode" (Without the quotation marks)
    4. Then once it finds the file, right click on it and press delete

Now you've successfully deleted the file, from this point we'll need to make sure the game will redownload this file so your game will work properly.

Follow these steps to repair your game files depending on what platform you are using:

    Steam

    1. Go to your library and right click Apex Legends
    2. Click on "properties"
    3. Go to "installed files"
    4. Click on "Verify integrity of game files"

    EA App

    1. Go to your library and click on Apex Legends
    2. Click on the "Manage" button
    3. Click on the "Repair" button

It'll probably take a few minutes to repair your game depending on your network connection, after it's done you should be able to play the game without any issues!

If you have any other questions or issues, feel free to ask me!
