- Hey @CI0verz
Right clicking the game in Origin and then choosing Repair should help you here.
Or if not try this.
Open the nvidia Control Panel
Click Manage 3D settings
Click the Program Settings tab
Click the Add button
Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\r5apex.exe
Select r5apex.exe and then Open
Customise individual settings if you like
Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.
Good Luck 🍺 I keep getting this same issue but only since Respawn sent the fix in response to the hack. The one problem I have with the solution offered is that I have currently have an integrated Intel Iris XE graphics chip so I cant really change NVidia Settings. I've tried multiple things but it either fall back to an NVidia solution or not working at all.
Playing on PC through Steam.
DxDiag file attached if needed.
- @KnightsDawn33 i can feel your pain.
unfortunally i think there is no support to the new shader version.
Look in here: https://community.intel.com/t5/Developing-Games-Graphics-on/Intel-Xe-Graphics-driver-bug-mipmapping/m-p/1292994
and also here: https://ccm.net/faq/4226-identify-the-pixel-shader-version-of-your-graphics-card
If i am not missunderstanding there are some limitations.
But also a thought? Is there not a control panel for your Intel Iris XE where you can make all these settings? There is a control application ("Intel Graphics Command Center") but it operates more as an override of the chip rather than letting the application have it's own settings. I appreciate the help with the links but I don't think there's a solid solution for my issue unfortunately.
- @KnightsDawn33 I recently had this issue and I found that upgrading to the beta version of the new driver solved it. I did lag a lot for my first match but after that it was smooth. Here's the link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30522/Intel-Graphics-BETA-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers
There are two options, which one should I download?

/AticJust crashed three times in one game. Been dealing with this issue with no resolution all year. Going to keep posting in other threads until I get an actual reply to my thread FROM MARCH. Please tell me how to enable crash logging.
