Good PC capped @ 144fps - feels laggy.

i9 9900k @ 4.8mhz / RTX 2070 8gb

Running the game on mid/low settings. Games running usually at capped 144 fps with not much cpu usage (gpu is usually 60-95ish%) with good temps but for some reason my game feels laggy? I've tried Adaptive vsync - which helps a bit, but its not worth the input lag. Anything you could recommend that helps would be appreciated. This started I want to say 2-3 updates ago.

I'll have to give this a try after work, but can you explain why out of everything it could be, internet connection could be the main culprit? I've never had games feel 'laggy' due to internet issues.. but I'm not doubting your word.

Have you tried running the game in fullscreen? That fixed the screen lag issue for me.

yeah I've tried fullscreen, disabling fullscreen optimizations, adaptive vsync on/off, custon autoexec.cfg, higher settings/lower settings. The only things I haven't tried is moving it from HDD to SSD, and going back a few drivers as I'm currently at newest update. Again though, this started like 2-3 updates ago.

Some realtime anti virus or windows defender realtime could make it a bit harder but if u can run training mode at high fps then laggy game could be because of server load

So after doing everything on this list, I doubt this has anything to do with my internet connect.

I had 0% packet loss and a max of 2ms jitter. After testing 10 times, even on further connection based placed - the results barely changed if at all. The speeds as well barely changed 3-5 down/upload per change in distance (of like 25-50 miles further range).

Id really like to be able to play your game, and I know from reading through the forums I'm not the only one with this problem. Anything else you can think of @EA_Darko  ?

Put +cl_showfps 1 in launch options.

Play a match or go to training.

Do you see the words "out of snapshot" or "client hitched" in yellow at the top of your screen at the same time as the stuttering?

Thats what is happening to me. Same exact time as the micro stutter.

I've had an identical experience. Doesn't matter if my fps is 144 stable or stable at a lower number the game feels laggy/choppy. Game only felt good at the beginning of the launch and I've been trying to figure it out since. I've isolated the issue down to a network/server issue, but its nothing on my end. I tested two separate ISPs and both have identical symptoms. I had to quit playing the game as a result (which I really didn't want to).

    Tripple buffering with standard Vsync

GimmickSync and FuggedSync are a joke.

Ur right if you run training mode stable at 144fps but online game feels choppy it is a network/server problem... The game has come a long way I think their servers have improved quite a bit unfortunately some people still experience lag but it has improved imo since beginning of the month
