having issues with in-game movement

i am experiencing prolonged W movement after long movement. when moving forward while sprinting for at least 10 seconds, my character would continue moving forward for about 6 sec after letting go of...

I have discovered the cause of my problem. It is indeed my keyboard, but it only happens when the CPU is hot, because the W key is right up against the CPU. I have no idea while this works while the chat is open.
