I gave this a shot and it works. Nice find! So the client authentication of EAC fails when "EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll" inside Apex folder is missing, which is quite understandable. But this should be the final step to locate and fix the bug, thanks to @NAGAAATO find!
Check the video the user @NAGAAATO just posted.
Removing "EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll" lets you play the game again. You will just get kicked within few minutes but you can reconnect and play until it kicks you again.
But there are no freezes anymore!
This should be a final hint for the devs.
Please work on this, so we're not missing the upcoming event ☹️
