Changing your email does not change which platform accounts are linked, nor would it change what information is stored on your account. It would still be the same account, you'd just be updating the login email. So no, unfortunately that wouldn't have any impact on your linked accounts, progress, or that 6-month re-link cooldown.

In that case it would still be best to speak with support to see if they have any other options around getting the correct accounts linked even if you have that re-link timer active currently.

If you create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I want to update my EA Account information or I need help logging in to my EA Account, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can take a look.

@EA_Mako I've tried that, it doesn't give me the option to do a live chat, its only showing articles. Is there no way for you to find out? I sent a message to your inbox a few days ago.

Hi @nebbiio,

We can't change or discuss any account details via the forums, sorry.

In some situations it may help to log out of the help site when creating your case. You'll be prompted to sign back in, but should also have an option to Continue without logging in to get the case started.
