Loading and compiling shaders and not getting into matches

When I start my apex it takes around 30 minuets to get to the starting screen and even more for getting into a game. when i start my game it has a 30 minuet waiting period of loading and compiling shaders. I have gone on google and looked at everything i can do to try and make it stop but it hasn't and doesn't even stop with: new accounts, uninstalling and reinstalling, going to origin. nothing works to fix this. also when i do get to the normal screen it can take up to an hour or more just to get into an unranked match. i am struggling keeping my motivation to play. this is just horrible

  • Hey @Fun_Stranger

Are you using an NVIDIA video card? If so, have you tried enabling the shader cache through the NVIDIA Control Panel to see if that helps?

If you open the NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Manage 3D Settings you should see the shader cache option near the bottom. Try enabling that, and see if that makes a difference. Let me know how it goes when you can.

    Thanks!
