Lost account progress (PSN)

Hello,

my ea account got hacked on December 1st 2024 and now I got access to my account back. But now when I start the game, all my progress is gone, all my skins, all my stats, levels and badges. I only played on playstation and I have never used cross-progression. Maybe the hacker did, but I am 100% sure I did not. One of your agent on live chat support told, that I should try writing here and the in-game team can restore my progress. 

If you help me with that, I will start buying from in-game store frequently.

    Do you have any other accounts where you may have played in the past?

    While you've said the advisor mentioned this has been linked since 2018, this EA account had never launched Apex on PlayStation until very, very recently.

    Unless you've only been playing a month or so, there would be another account with your actual Apex progress. That's the one you'd need to try and locate.

    If you don't recall or can no longer access an older account, please reach back out to support so they can help try to regain access and/or update the account information as needed. We are unable to make any changes to your account here on the forums.

  • @ar0ncz Your game progress is linked to your EA Account. If the hacker had unlinked your PlayStation from the EA Account, that could cause a loss of progress.
  • @Midnight9746 That is the thing. Agent from live chat support told me, that the hacker only changed e-mail, but he never unlinked my console. He told me, that my console is still linked since 2018.

  • @EA_Mako I contacted support through live chat and the guy confirmed, that the account I am signed to had my progress, but the hacker probably tried merging progress to pc and that caused the lost.

    Hi @ar0ncz,

    Unfortunately, that is incorrect and something may have been missed. As far as Apex Legends specifically, the account you're on has never launched Apex on any platform prior to last month.

    If you played before that, then there is another account somewhere with that progress. That's what would need to be located in this case.
