Final update - its the way the monitor gets the 144hz refresh. If you lower it to 120 its fine!
Actually, I've just realised that the screenshots don't feature the glitch, even though they were in effect when I took them. Weird.
I have the same issue with a 1070ti. This is the only game that I get this snd it seems to stay even after closing the game so I have restart.
Cleaned my drivers and reinstalled them. Same thing happens. Tried older drivers but that did not help.
Glad it's not just me!
edit - so I think it's linked to getting downed. But not every down....

I've just figured out that turning the monitor off and on again clears the problem.
