Hey, Mako,
I was wondering if there was any chance if there was an extension of this issue to ban other accounts in waves.
I previously hadn't touched Apex Legends for at least 6 months to a year before the addition of Cross Progression (specifically waiting for Cross Progression) but when I installed Apex on Steam around November 3/4th to log in and play I found I was banned on October 27th.
I sent in a few tickets asking for any clarification but all I received was 'the investigation was correct, we will not appeal'. I wasn't privy to knowing if the incident occurred on the date, what exactly I apparently did to get banned, saying that I must've been hacked didn't change the answer in anyway, I couldn't have a dialogue at all with the support tickets as they were closed instantly.
I've seen a few of these threads since, and whilst they're not exact to the issue others were having, the ban date being similar seems coincidental to me. If I can never play Apex again then I'll get over but I am still very confused on what may have happened because as far as I could tell my account wasn't compromised, and I personally had not touched the game in *months* so to get a Ban a week before the Crossplay implementation I was looking forward to was very odd.
If there's anything you can reply or look into, I'll appreciate it, but I have accepted I probably just won't be able to play Apex again. (I haven't even been told if the Ban is permanent, or temporary. The ban history webpage just has a blank reason and gives me nothing)
Thanks all the same.
