Re: Amazon Prime gaming (loot problem)

@KadirLOL If you linked your Amazon account to an EA Account and claimed the package, you will not be able to transfer the content to another EA Account, if you unlink and link Amazon to it. The rewards will go to the first platform you access with the linked accounts and stay there.

You can check more information in the FAQ section here: https://gaming.amazon.com/loot/apexlegends

I accidentally linked the EA wrong account to my Amazon account. What should I do?

If you accidentally linked the wrong EA account to your Amazon Prime account and you haven't yet claimed the offer:
1) Visit https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index and log into your EA Account.
2) Click on "unlink" to unlink your accounts.
3) Once your accounts are unlinked, visit this page again to link the correct EA account to your Amazon Prime account.

Please make sure that you are NOT logged into any other accounts at the same time in the same browser. For the best results, complete the process in "private browsing" or "incognito" mode.

    @EA_IlliumAnd what to do if you DID claim the items?

    Is it still possible to unlink the account and connect right one?

  • I am dealing with this same exact issue currently. However, it is with last month's reward. I redeemed it on my PC EA account instead of my Xbox EA account and didn't realize it til this month. I don't even play Apex on PC. So now I am going through support to try and get it moved over.

    I keep getting a response stating "Different platform codes cannot be transferred over to other platforms". But this is a lie. I spoke with Twitch support on this and they advised that EA gives them one code to redeem per account. Once the code is redeemed, a new one cannot be generated. Which leads me to believe that the one code per person works for each platform. There is no way EA is sending out 100 million of each platform codes to be possibly used. It is one code that works on all platforms. If that is the case, then the code can easily be transferred over to another platform. It's just EA's anti-customer policies that are preventing it.

    The funny thing is, Twitch said there is nothing they can do about it on their end. One code per account and it cannot be reset afterwards by Twitch. Yet EA support has directed me to Twitch twice now stating that Twitch has to help me.

    I am going to get to the bottom of this one way or another. Even if I have to go through every manager there is.

    @KaeTakara

    Have you ever had a problem with a Twitch Prime skin not showing up in the game?

    It's been two months and no one has solved it.

    @ARZUMATA As I had mentioned above if you have redeemed the Twitch reward on the connected account and platform ( so say you connected it to your EA Account and redeemed it on your PC account) you will be unable to redeem it elsewhere.

    Likewise, you will be unable to transfer it to another platform. It will stay on the first platform it was redeemed on.
