Re: APEX LEGENDS: Game is super laggy despite having decent pc specs

Hey @ahajos03

It looks like your Computer is using your intel graphics when playing Apex Legends.

You might want to disable your integrated graphics so Apex will be using your 960M.

How To disable your intel graphics:

Press the Windows button and X at the same time.

A list will pop up and select Device Manager, this will open window and find the Display Adapters list.

Right-click on the listed display intel integrated graphics accelerator and select disable. Do not select uninstall as this may cause further problems.

I also noticed you are on an old driver version.
You might want to update it to the latest NVIDIA 422.50 drivers.

You can update your drivers by using Geforce Experience or download them manually over here: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Let me know if Apex Legends runs better after these steps. 🙂

@Zeelmaekers Hey! It Worked like a charm! Thank you so much I appreciate it a ton! I didn't even need to switch display adaptes, just update the drivers, but still thank you I really appreciate it! Hope you have a great day!
  • Tried this and it actually got MUCH WORSE

my desktop PC is an i5 with a GTX 960 and 16GB of RAM and it runs fine

my laptop is a MSi with an i7, GTX 1050Ti and 16GB of RAM and it runs like crap..

played back in season 3 and the desktop sucked while the laptop was good... doesn’t make any sense to me..

also made sure I updated my drivers and set my GPU as the preferred graphics source before disabling my integrated graphics
