Re: Cannot play with roommate on same wifi

Hello everyone

I have a weird problem with game after patch on PlayStation 4. Now there are several problems that i am facing and i must add, With my HOME connection.

Sometimes i can't pass the first loading screen. The second problem is, i can play solo with random people with no problems, but when i decide to play with my friends, everything is messing up. I don't see them (they see me), i press ready but i don't see me as ready (but they do!) they fire up the matchmaking and join but i am still in the menus!

I tested it with my mobile 4G and there was no problems, but i should add this, my mobile internet provider is the same as my home adsl.

I tested every other games with my home dsl to see if the problem is with my home ADSL but everything works fine. i have a 50 ms ping in battlefield V, and my nat type is 2. I even downloaded Apex on my laptop and i am able to play it with home DSL and my home mate plays it all day long on PC! Also sometime i get error code 200 on loading screen.

Yesterday i shared my home internet from pc and used a VPN to see if anything will change, and yup after i shared the VPN my problem solved! I don't know what is going on, i am not an expert on network but as it seems, after the patch my home DSL have problems with this game's ports on PlayStation 4.
