@poom-balthe @Littumulkero Do you guys also have a network which is shared with many people in a building?
I started to think that it might effect our connections - Littumulkero6 years agoNew Hotshot
Hello again,
Yes I do.
I have tried to swap my mobile connection now and then but I still code.net going on. Mobile net is 80-90mb/s (dowload), 40-60mb/s (upload) ping 25-35ms compared to landline 20mb/s DL/UP ping 10-20ms
next weekend I have possibility to test Apex with fiber connection 300mb/s + different location so lets see if it changes anything.
I am pretty confident that 3rd party programs running background are raising probabily code.net to appear. Example from weekend -> I did leave chrome running and 3 code.net out of 6. Then turned chrome off and started to play with friends then I did get only 1 code.net out of 5.

I feel like it's related to something with a large building network. Probably tomorrow I'll try to setup my own network under building network and see how it goes.
I also tried to do it with all non-windows background services closed with no luck.
I'll keep you posted about results with my own private network - RobinWooood6 years agoNot applicable
Today I tried to open all ports explained here https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/ in my firewall.
I also tried it with a new router under my apartment's bulding.
No luck, still issue - RobinWooood6 years agoNot applicable
I tried to open so many other ports as well. No luck
I'm so done with this game. Can't play it and won't try in future
It's time to move on to non EA fps games
@RobinWoooodDo you have any 3rd party software installed that may give your internet a issue such as Antivirus, firewall, discord, "Game booster" ?
If you still need any help i'm more then willing to give you the support needed to fix this issue for you.- RobinWooood6 years agoNot applicable
@EzyHawk, I tried with no background services and 3rd parties running.
I even closed many 'non necessary' windows services. I also tried with firewall disabled.I believe the issue is about my crowded building network and some pathing logic error between my client and apex servers. But there is no way to verify that from my end.
I also tried UOTrace and had no issues about packageloss, pathing etc.
In short, I believe I tried everything posted in EA's forums and other people's solutions You can try the following, has worked for a few users:
changing to public DNS:
Change IPv4 DNS- Open the Control Panel from the Start menu
- Click Network and sharing Center
- Click Change adapter settings
- Right click on your active network adapter & choose properties
- Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click properties
- Enter the new DNS servers into the boxes under “Use one of the following DNS server addresses”
Google:
