Re: LightingService.exe Game Security Violation

Had the same problem, but got in the game suddenly and then i got game security violation detected (#00000001)

And turned out ppl had this problem in fortnite, and it has something to do with programs controlling rgb lighting. So i deleted Aura wich is the program for the lighinting on my motherboard. and now it works fine. But they should fix this bug though

SMH this shouldnt even be a problem in the first place where i have to kill the rgb in my desktop just to play a game because the anti-cheat service thinks is a hack

That is not a fix.  Aura is a standard lighting system specifically for gaming rigs.  They need to make an exception for RGB services.

The likely culprit is the sound monitoring hook for the equalizer modes, but that cannot be used to gain an advantage in any game and should be whitelisted as a false positive.

Don't get your hopes up - I've never seen exceptions for things like this made in anti-cheat software.

Don't stop complaining about it either though. It's not unreasonable to expect EA to get it patched.

    wtf?

EA needs to support the hardware people play on. Is it my fault I use the service to run my lighting? Nope.

I have to stop it via a script every time I launch the game and that is stupid.

yea it's a pain now i just end the task in task manager when i boot windows that way my rgb stays on and apex legends don't cry about lightingservice.exe

also that way you don't have to worry about it every time you boot the game unless you reboot your pc then you have to do it again.

That's not a fix ... we shouldn't have to shut down parts of our systems to play

its not a bug... hackers use it to hack or exploit the specific game... unfortunately us gamers that do not cheat have to pay the price for these idiots ☹️
