hey ive been getting plagued by this issue for a bit now and i cant seem to fix it. despite being connected to my closest server and on the titlescreen it says im supposed to be getting around 50 ms ping, whenever i actually get in a game it skyrockets to 400ms ping. occasionally it actually does go to a relatively normal ping (around 80) which confuses me even more to what might be the issue. ive tried restarting my pc, restarting my router, changing the dns and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no avail.9Views0likes0CommentsHow to get help with Apex Legends account bans and suspensions
Hey Legends, Is a locked, suspended, or banned EA Account keeping you from accessing Apex Legends? If your thread has been merged here, the information below covers the next steps, including how to check your account status and request a review if you believe the action was applied incorrectly. Please keep in mind that we cannot review, change, or remove account actions here on the forums. Not sure where to start? Sign in to the correct EA Account. If you play on multiple platforms or have more than one EA Account, make sure you're checking the account linked to the platform you use for Apex Legends. Check your EA Account email address for details on the action. We may email you from [email protected] regarding any account action, so be sure it's not being filtered to any spam or junk folders. Check the penalty history tool to see whether your account has an active suspension or ban, along with any available details about the action. Review our Rules of Conduct and Positive Play Charter to better understand the reason an account action may have been issued. If your account is locked rather than suspended or banned, check the account recovery steps first before attempting to submit an appeal. Ready to request a review? If you believe the account action was applied incorrectly, visit the Penalty History page and select the action you'd like to appeal, then follow the on-screen instructions to submit the request. If you don't see the action you want to appeal and have confirmed you're signed into the correct EA Account, check out this EA Help article to review additional details and submit an appeal. What happens next? After creating an appeal you can expect a response from [email protected], or keep an eye on your Case History page for a response once the team has completed their investigation. Each appeal is reviewed by a member of EA's Terms of Service team before a decision is made. While the response you receive may use standard wording, every appeal receives a manual review. If you're no longer able to submit another appeal through the Penalty History page, you've reached the maximum number of reviews available for that action. At that point, the decision is considered final. If your situation isn't covered above, you'll find additional information and answers to common questions in the EA Help article below. EA Account bans, suspensions, and locks: how to appeal and check status As a reminder, forum staff cannot review, change, or overturn any account or game sanctions. Please review the information above as posts merged to this thread may not receive a response.3.6KViews3likes248CommentsThe client failed an anti-cheat backend check.
I've been having been having this issue for about a week or 2 now. Before i wasn't getting this issue and after a while i installed apex once again fresh from my reformatted pc and ive been having this issue since then. I tried reinstalling it and i tried to contact EA advisor for some help but it didnt work sometimes i can play the game for a bit like one match of wildcard then all of the sudden kicks me out of the game after or during another match. Other than the backend check there is also "This profile is not permitted to play online". But i dont have any penalty and when i play apex on another pc or let my friend try it to see if there is an error they dont get one i even tried playing on a fresh account but still i have the same error. Did all the ipconfig things, reinstalled, move drivers, reinstalled EA anti cheat, deleted msi afterburner but still have the same issue. Can anyone help me? its frustrating because i spent money on this game but still have the same issue, i can tolerate the lag sometimes in the game but if i cant play it, its a waste of money.9Views0likes0CommentsExtreme packet loss when playing ranked on Xfinity internet
Hello! Day one player here, who has played on both Playstation and PC since the game launched on Comcast/Xfinity at the same address in central New Jersey for years. I haven't had much lag in that time, but recently, since the server update and anti-DDoS implementation, whenever I am connected to a secure server in ranked (with the pentagon icon in the performance data bar), I get extreme packet loss (all of the red icons) to the point of the game being unplayable. This has only started to occur in the last several months and is incredibly frustrating. I've seen this issue raised in several other locations before. Here's a thread on the Xfinity support site about this, and another one on their site. All of the symptoms described there are happening to me as well, and it seems like this is primarily impacting NJ customers. I've done everything I can to remedy the situation on my own - new router, new modem, new cables, tried both PC and Playstation - and the issue persists. There's wide speculation that this is occurs primarily due to some bugged interaction between the Xfinity network and EA servers. Is there any chance that an engineering team can take a look at this problem? No one I play with on other ISPs seems to be having this problem. I don't even have the option to switch ISPs where I am, so until this issue is resolved, ranked is literally unplayable for me. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your help!381Views1like33CommentsApex legends crashing after startup
Recently my game just wouldn't open. It would load for a second then just close, no error messages, no crash logs nothing. Funnily enough, I borrowed an account from my friend and it opens up normally. So far I've tried: -Verifying files on Steam -Reinstalling Apex Legends -Updating GPU drivers -Running sfc /scannow and fixing corrupted windows files -Removing every launch options on steam I thought the issue might've been with other anti-cheats (Vanguard) so I disabled them and still nothing helped. Also thought the issue might've been with NVidia Reflex so I tried disabling it in video options in files but that also didn't work. I'm attaching a video on how the crash looks.Apex Legends False 1‑Year Ban,Cannot Submit Appeal Case
Hello EA Support, My Apex Legends account has been banned for 1 year. I never used any cheats, hacks or unauthorized third‑party programs. This is a false ban. EA email: [edit: email address removed] EA ID: 别唧唧咋咋 Ban length: 1 year My earlier appeal was rejected. Now the EA Help website keeps showing errors when I try to create a new support case. I have tried private browser mode, multiple browsers, clearing cache, turning off plugins and switching networks, but I still cannot submit the appeal form. I am an honest player who puts a lot of time into Apex. It is frustrating to get an unfair ban and meanwhile lose access to your official appeal form. Please re‑examine my account logs and match records, and lift this incorrect ban. Thank you.Solved91Views0likes7CommentsUnable to Submit Ban Appeal or contact with support service.
My Apex account was unexpectedly banned after I just bought nearly 20,000 Apex coins. But when I tried to appeal, I found that I couldn't submit an appeal through any available method. (As shown in Pic 1) Following the instructions on the EA website, I tried contacting the support team. However, after clicking the “Contact Us” button, the chat bubble never appeared. (As shown in Pic 3) I’m unable to submit an appeal through the Penalty Page or contact support via “Contact Us.” I’ve tried using different computers, phones, and browsers, as well as clearing my browser cache and using incognito mode, but I still can’t submit an appeal or start a live chat with support. Also "E-mail us" button was never shown up. I did some research, and some people said it might be because my email address ends in @163.com, but I’m not sure if that’s the reason. So what am I supposed to do now? Oh, I didn't receive a ban notification email either (Pic 5), but I do have a ban. (Pic 4)98Views0likes9Comments
