Hey @vagtasticplastac , I've been playing this game for ages and this is has repeatedly been an issue that comes and goes for WA players over several seasons, and it also happens to people I've spoken with outside Australia that say the same thing. I also did a UOTrace, it came up with the exact same results, my theory is that every once in a while we get routed wrong and that causes the ping issue. There are no issues with our internet, no issues with Singapore 1 itself, it's the path the info is taking to get there. If you look at the trace route, the moment the ping starts to spike is where you get routed to that "telia" server. If you look that server up, google says that it's based in California, so if I'm reading this right it definitely isn't the optimal route for our stuff to be going on. Using a VPN doesn't fix it. This may not be EA's fault as it isn't the singapore server that's got a ping problem, it some other server along the way. Maybe if we contact our ISP they can help us?
- 6 years ago@ididntbuythis Yeah I talked to my ISP, iiNet who said it was nothing on their end and they asked me to troubleshoot which I did and nothing seemed to work... For them to hear about my internet working fine except for one game in particular, they can't really do anything about it
