(Steam) When I launch the game, it won't go past the very first loading screen.

Title says it all, it's the infinite loading screen and I'm launching the game with steam. I have tried reinstalling the game, disconnecting my internet when launching the game and then reconnecting....

Can we try out a few things to see if we can help fix this? 

A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps from the EA Help website. If it keeps getting stuck after that check out the PC-specific steps as well. Let me know how that goes when you can.

    @EA_Kent Before trying these, I have to say I have played this game few months ago, with this same computer, with the same internet connection, and nothing has changed for me
