Unable to gift, login verification not working

I have been trying to enable ‘Login Verification’ for weeks to allow me to send gifts to friends for the Breakout Rewards. I was not receiving the verification codes (by email or phone number) and now in the gifting section of Apex the ‘Login Verification’ button is keyed out and nothing happens when I click on it.
