Unfortunately, you'll need to wait for 6 months to pass before linking accounts again in that case. These warnings are detailed in the article about linking/unlinking accounts. In the future, make sure you give it a good read before unlinking an account.
I did read it, I thought it meant my progress on the current EA account will be gone but it would be there on the new EA account it's been linked to. This issue is going to happen to a lot of people because it's not exactly clear and the apex cross progression blog post said accounts need to be on the same EA account to have cross progression unlocked. It didn't explicitly state that if they were not on the same EA account from the start then there is no way for cross prog to work for you.
Community ManagerYour accounts need to be on the same EA account. For example, if you have an PlayStation and PC account on the same EA account, those will be merged. You can't move an Xbox gamertag from a different EA account to a the EA account with the accounts you want to merge together.

Yes, it clearly states that they need to be on the same EA account. That is going to make people thing "oh let me make sure both of my Apex profiles should be on the same EA account, let me move one over". Knowing that the post should have explicitly stated that if your Apex profiles are on two different EA accounts there is NO way possible to combine them and keep your progress. I've lost access and can't unlink until April... Not gonna lie im pretty devastated.
is there no other way of linking an account if i accedetally linked it with the wrong ea account?
