Xbox controller on pc

I am having a terrible time trying to use my xbox controller on pc to play apex legends. My sensitivity is sticking/glitching when trying to turn horizontally in game. It's almost like a hard aim assist when trying to turn, it will slow your sensitivity way down.  I've literally tried so many methods to fix this issue and I am not having any luck. Is anyone else dealing with this issue or know a fix?

Thanks!

  • Hi @zFNGz

Are you playing with your frame rate unlocked? If so, can you test something for me? Try locking the frame rate to 180 fps or lower. See if you're still running into any sort of sensitivity issues afterward.

Let me know how that goes when you can.

    Thanks!

    /Kent

I set my graphics card to 144 and it actually tremendously helped. Thank you so much! Should I lower my fps on my monitor as well or does that really matter?

  • Nah, the monitor is a form of output that outputs X resolution and X Hz/FPS.
Try enabling any Gsync or freesync options and use that.

If you dont have either then just cap your FPS to your monitors Hz.

If you need help in knowing what your monitor is capable of, link me the monitor or tell me the model of it :D

  • @The_Tibber I have capped it to my monitors hz but it only works for like 10 minutes and the issue appears again, should u do something more??
