In my view, the key to solving the problem of attack vehicles being used as transports is to increase the availability of transports.
Straatford has mentioned, a couple of times, the team looking at whether they can restrict the call in ability to transport vehicles and rangers.
If that was implemented, and attack vehicles of all stripes can only be accessed at bases and select flags, a lot of issues get solved.
- InsidiuZ4 years agoNew Hotshot@TAW_Rinko Exactly, I've been asking for that since the game came out, I think it would be a good way to reduce the chaos of vehicles and added to the respawn time I think it would be perfect, I think that from the beginning it should only be called transport vehicles such as quads, motorcycles, etc, and not armored vehicles. Thanks to this system we had the privilege of seeing tanks roaming on rooftops. I hope these changes are implemented.

I'd suggest you randomize the cooldown between 45-90 seconds. Else you will continue to get duos farming the vehicles where nobody else can even get one in a 30 minute game.
Yes, it is easy to farm when you know the exact second the vehicle becomes available, and one person is on a PC using a "Clicker" program.
The unintended consequences will be massive frustration for console players who will be even more locked out of vehicles "IF" you double the respawn from 60 to 120 seconds. And to be honest, the vehicles are one of the few things that keep BF from becoming monotonous, so locking out a majority of players from "Fun" is risky.
Mark this post...you will lose players if you implement this idea, I'd bet money on it...

It would also give a lot more direction to the round - at the moment, there's no reason other than fun to attack or defend a flag. If a flag actually spawns a vehicle, it immediately gives it much more strategic importance. This could - depending on how "flag = vehicle" is implemented - also take some of the pressure off the meatgrinder flags (i.e. D and C sector on Discarded or B sector on Manifest) and distribute the fights a bit more more sanely.

Just asking so i understand. Some vehicle mains feel they are entitled to use vehicles 100% of the time and should have priority over others?
