Wtf are you talking about. The 128-player versions of maps on Conquest have always been playing just fine for those of us on modern hardware. Never had performance issues.
I bet you were part of the nonsensical crowd complaining how this game was a running simulator, completely ignoring available vehicles and call-ins.

@Anarchiesx sure its my rig that is the issue:
- I run a RTX2080 8GB
- a AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12-core Processor
-32GB RAM
with this in my opinion decent set up i get all the performance issues you can name... Framedrops from 120 FPS all the way down to 45 at absolutely random intervalls, inputlag is beyond playable at times and do not forget the random super-bullets...
the game runs on what seems to be 45 HZ servers to handle the sheer scale of the maps and player-base. a direct downgrade to the 60HZ we have had since BF1. but hey i am the issue and not the halfbacked playtest we are providing for DICE to test 128-players

- Anarchiesx4 years agoRising Veteran@X-Sunslayer-X I mean, I literally don't experience any serious issues running the game on 128-players. It's fun. It's actually playable. If it's an optimization issue for different machines, those can be fixed. Instead they're just throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
- X-Sunslayer-X4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Anarchiesx as far as i know 128-conquest ist still there. if clicking trough 2 tiles is such a hassle then i guess, but if the 128 lobbies are not filling up then the community at large does not enjoy 128-player modes and statements by DICE support that hypothesis.
also if the mode works for you on a technical level and thus ignoring all the criticism because "its works for me thus not my problem" is ignoring the point.
DICE is not abandoning 128 conquest yet but the community has made it clear that it is not the best addition
