This would give players an advantage over others using the first-person view, so it's a big no for me.
It would give you a much wider FOV and the ability to peek over and around terrain and obstacles without exposing your character.
There is a reason why it's called a "first person shooter".
It should stay in first person perspective then.
Already enough that vehicles offer a switch to 3rd person.
Also the way how people play would change a lot as they can start to look around corners and stuff without actually being able to get shot.
No thanks.
