90% of the drones spots don't give spot assists.

I can spot an army of enemies and il get maybe 3 or 4 spot assists, not the kill assists, the 5xp enemy spotted, it is very inconsistent, it does spot the enemies on my screen but I don't get any xp ...

@R1ckyDaMan19 - I had assumed from my experience using the prox sensors that you only got the spot bonus and assist if the enemy had not already been spotted, either by another player getting lucky with a ping, another prox sensor or a drone.

@filthy_vegans This, if you see a sea of red dots turn around and wait for them to go.

Can be a pain if there are other drones about but you can only spot unspotted targets.

@filthy_vegans I throw my proxy balls into a mass of enemies that are already spotted by a mass of proxy balls and I still get a mountain of enemy spotted and assists.

Try spot with the drone and nope, either the proxy balls work right and the drone doesn't or vice versa.

  @R1ckyDaMan19 - is that still the case with prox balls after the patch? I noticed that I wasn't getting as many spots last night when I played.

  @R1ckyDaMan19 Drones and balls might work differently in this respect.
