About the outbreak
Well folks, the "outbreak" has begun. This is a specially designed PvE game mode where you form squads of four to defeat hordes of attacking custom geists, secure targets, and escape from Redacted.
I played just a couple of games, but here's what I noticed. You cannot select more than two of the same specialist for your squad. You cannot select equipment. At first you are equipped only with MP28 and Specialist gadgets, and the MP28 has unlimited spare ammo. For Angel, the Specialist Gadget could use the equipment box (please give me information on other specialists!). . By enduring a certain number of waves and by securing a target, the player can proceed to the next phase.
IMPORTANT: As the phase progresses, there will be boxes on the path where you can change your equipment. You can use the money earned in battle to change your main weapon, subweapon, or equip additional gadgets.
Victory is achieved when the last phase is reached and everyone escapes by elevator. If the entire squad goes down in the middle of the game, the game is immediately lost.
In my opinion, it is a very unique and interesting game mode; it feels like a different game from BF, but it makes good use of the specialist features of this game. It would be interesting to play with friends and with voice chat. Personally, I would like to see such a PvE game mode as a permanent feature.
