Amazing what Gyro Aim could do for controllers...Guy plays w/ a Single Joycon..

C'mon DICE.  Please add Gyro Aim support for controller players in BF.  I dont have a setup for KnM and with Gyro Aim, dont need Aim Assist as long as its implemented properly to mimick a mouse.  Its my goto method of controls.

This guy literally shows it off with a SINGLE Joycon on Apex Legends.  He is on PC (he is part of a Discord im in that he hangs out at) and just simply remaps the Joycon buttons to match what he needs.  Aside from that, nothing special and no AA.  Gyro Aim is NOTHING like the Wii days.  Tremendously more intuitive and about the same level of effort as using a PC mouse if setup properly--look to Fortnite and MW2 for examples.  Hell even God of War Ragnarok has a super simple but extremely well implemented version (minus its missing Acceleration).

  • He never takes his left thumb off the movement stick and uses his right hand for pushing buttons. Pretty amazing! I'm surprised he has enough buttons for all the in-game actions.

Its how he maps the buttons.  He has one of the bumpers where if he holds it down, it converts a bunch of the buttons to new actions.  Some limitations but very impressive.  Obviously, this would not work without gyro aim which is a major proponent.

For me, the fact Gyro Aim has much more intuitive aiming but also frees up the right thumb is a great benefit to be able to perform those actions such as bunny hopping or sliding without losing aim is huge.
