Hello. I've been having a problem with Anti-Tank Mines lately, people seem to just drop AT Mines right on me whenever I'm in a land vehicle and that instantly kills me. Does anyone else think this is weird? How come AT Mines can now be used as a substitute for C5? I just find it ridiculous that instead of dying to AT Mines by tripping it, someone can just drop it on top of you and be done with it. Can this be fixed, pretty please?

@unique_steeltamFor better or for worse, the AT mines work like movement sensors instead of mechanically accurate representations of how AT mines are triggered IRL.Btw, the AT mines in real life would also be buried.I think that if you do not move at all, the AT mines will not blow up though.Use that to your advantage and kill the owner of the mines before he decides to blow them up with a gun or grenades.In any case, you should also consider that if someone has gotten close enough to deliver 3 "extra spicy family sized pizzas" to your tank, you have overextended or been careless.

I wonder if they got stealth buffed. They used to have some delay before exploding after being thrown.All I know is that yesterday I sent an enemy MAV that was parked next to our M-com all the way to the Aloha SnackBar.When I am to be a vehicle driver, I always pick Irish in order to set up a safer heaven near the enemy lines that I otherwise would. I suspect they also stop AT mines.

@UP_Hawxxeye Yes, I agree, they work like movement/proximity based mines instead of how they are supposed to be triggered.The thing is, it's not really possible not to move especially when you are in the middle of charging the enemy lines, I've seen quite often that people use smoke or drop by parachute and then drop the mine on top of me and that insta-kills me without giving me any chance not to move at all, lol.I just wish they work as intended and not as is currently.

@UP_Hawxxeye Actually, you can place them and then shoot them if the tank doesn't move, and it will trigger them to explode.

I think that if you do not move at all, the AT mines will not blow up though.

I'm not saying it should be ultra-realistic, it's fine when you can just place it on the ground, the issue is how it's abused to basically one-shot any vehicle when it's dropped on it. I legit don't think that it's how it should work and definitely was not the case in the previous BF titles iirc.

@UP_Hawxxeye Lmao, I'm struggling to imagine how Irish's gadget can stop the AT mines from going off. That said, it's quite possible considering the subject matter of this post xD

@unique_steeltam Hahahaha,good good then..I just had a few Rounds and dropped Mines on numerous Tanks from above 😛

I mean,.I see your Point and being an avid Tank Driver myself,I get blown up by these too,but I don't think they should change that
UNLESS,they make C5 throwable again like before...^^

Gotta say tho,wasn't it in BFV or 1 even where yozu could charge tanks wirth that expolsive thingy?
Its pretty much similar to the mines I'd say

Let me give you an example:
I had put 3 C5 on a quad bike and I rushed an enemy tank. As soon as I passed the Irish sentinel near it, the C5 that was already on my quad got deleted from the game and I just crashed on the tank without my explosives.

I assume it works the same for the AT mines.
I think they just made the sentinels to ignore the C5 in this patch though. Expect to see a lot more people coming at you with C5
