Really? I mean really? Anyone think this gun is okay lazering people from 100m plus. For LMG?

I think the gun is the best/most versatile LMG.
It is like the SFAR, probably a little too good compared to other guns in its class.
But in general, the weapon balancing in 2042 seems a little weird overall, a lot of the guns are mostly meh and only a few are really worth using. The Avancy is worth using.
- @Ironhead841 All new weapons are OP when released. This gets people to use them. Then, the nerf bat comes and tones them down. It is part of the usual FPS process

I think the gun is more forgiving on kick then others. For an LMG, that can make a huge difference. OP? Not sure, but easier to use, yes.
I still get messages that are unsuitable for this forum by using the M1917 Telescopic in BF1.

- @DaRougaroux It probably feels OP right now because everyone (including me) is using this weapon. It’s new, it’s decent, so it’s really common. You’ll see in these Forums that JackFrags and his ilk are not beloved. The devs seem to think he speaks for the community (he doesn’t) so whatever drivel comes out of his channel will get a response from Dice so you’ll get your wish and they’ll nerf it. It’s better than the other LMGs, and that because they’ve all been nerfed into the ground. Enjoy the Avancys while you can. As people move on from it, you’ll die from it less and it won’t seem like such a beast.

Ive been working on T1 my c5. I have about a 1 in 10 success ratio. Im doing it on foot and not using vehilces rangers etc.
Stat page does not show how many vehicles you kill, which in my opinion, is far greater value then the 1 person you killed. @InS_Hypnodepending on the streamer they are often just posting clickbait
I don't think its super OP, it just hasn't received the same major nerf all the other weapons got. They absolutely massacred my baby PKP so anything will look like a beast compared to it lol
