The EA Terms of Service team has confirmed that your account violated their anti-cheating rules ( as you told, after filing the appeal) which makes them view the ban as permanent. The support team rarely changes their mind about permanent bans even when users claim they made no intentional mistakes.
You should maintain a peaceful dialogue with support to verify any possible errors but you should not expect them to remove the ban...
As for ban related to “account/platform swapped,” I have never witnessed such a case nor received any complaints about it.
