Any news on BF 2042 FSR support ? As far as I see Electronic Arts & Frostbite is on list of supporting developers list.
By having 6800 xt , I'd love to use RT + FSR in 4K , otherwise I wouldn't be purchasing the game
- carsono3114 years agoSeasoned Ace@_VolksWaffe_AB I think you have your answer! EA DICE have historically been good at supporting the latest graphics cards and technologies, while also making their games compatible across a broad range of hardware.
- 4 years ago@carsono311 yes that is so true that even now in BFV DXR is broken on AMD cards (after driver 21.5.2) and not to mention that M3 IR Sniper rifle that cannot be played on DX12... Support, sure...
- carsono3114 years agoSeasoned Ace@VVarlockSRB Not sure what you are referring to, since this thread is a couple months old... however I think I was referring to Battlefield 2042 FSR support, not Battlefield V.
I am sorry you are having some issue(s) in that game though...

It highly unlikely 2042 will not support FSR.
Here's a good Reddit thread with some good discussion about it.

@_VolksWaffe_ABTo be clear, EA DICE have made NVIDIA "The Official Battlefield 2042 PC Graphics Platform Partner".
However, seeing as FSR is open sourced and has been proven to work on NVIDIA cards and as you pointed out with the EA / Frostbite development partnership, I see it as a foregone conclusion. - 4 years ago
I hope you were joking, @_VolksWaffe_AB .
It would be hard to hit a good amount of FPS with RT activated on an AMD card, even in 1080p..
No way you can play at 60+ FPS with RT+4K Resolution(with 6800/6900 XT), no matter if there is FSR or not.
