Personally i remembered BF3 and 4 had the best setup and design also liked BF3 Veteran tag setup was and BF4 CTE system where you had to actually accomplish the challenges for each tag and character skin. Any other thoughts?

In BF4 then EA added several Commander specific dog tags to the collection. The two most 'advanced' were these:
Though sure many players will not find it a lot of fun down on the ground to getting blown to oblivion by a cruise missile or absolutely hammered by pesky enemies sitting up high in an AC130 gunship... =8-!
oh brother. I remember the offensive commander dog tag, specifically, was hard to get. Everything but the 50 gunships deployment was peanuts. Very limited amount of maps had the gunship in it, and of the few you had to be extremely lucky to get into the commander's seat..
