@JASONX_DKI watched this the other day. Not only have the bugs and game issues drove people away (or some have stopped until fixed), solo/coop and portal restricted progression is adding to that number and players are dropping this game fast

Maybe they should re-enable the features they took away just after launch.
- @JASONX_DK So far I haven't had any issues finding games on PS4 or PS5. I think a lot of PS5 players have turned off cross play.

That is definitely the case. Myself included, and everyone I know who owns this on PS5.
@ArchAngeL-PCXYeah I think so to. I was trying to find PSN numbers for 2042 the other day to see how many people were playing on Ps5, but couldn't find any.
Im sure Sony used to have a stat page for stuff like that in the past.
All I was able to find were the steamnumbers, and I feel fairly confident that most people didn't buy the steam version. Why anyone would want double DRM if they don't have to.
I play the Ps5 version with crossplay off, and the PC version with it on.- Man_iLoveFishing4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Also the problem is when game gets negative feedback do really impact future, atm it is "peak hour" but soon I think there will be trouble. Also good example, someone that knows about bf something and friend asks should I buy, says no. Why? Go figure lol. But spreading gets weaker every day.
- @BizzyVaping I can see PC numbers dropping fast. They have all kinds of performance issues that console hasn't seen. On PS4 with friends, I've had no issues either but cross play there is on with Xbox One as well.
- I have played all versions of the game and the Ps5 version with crossplay disabled is by far the most enjoyable to me.
Ps4/Xone - Cronus users and texture bugs everywhere + overall bad graphics
Series X - crossplay disabled means * servers and long wait times + cronus users
PC - No real technical issues on my system, but there's campers with oneshot snipers and pin point accurancy everywhere, making the flow of the game feel terrible
Ps5 with crossplay disabled - There's a nice flow and It just feels so much better to play than any of the other versions currently
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Ps5 playerbase is fairly healthy. - AuramiteX4 years agoSeasoned Veteran
I've heard this also.
And I must admit the PS5 experience is generally very good, especially after update 2.
Very few crashes, very short wait times to join games, generally stable and not many bugs from game to game that impact the match.
When you cross play with PC you exponentially increase the likelihood of coming across cheaters, why would the PS5 users want to put up with that?
- @AuramiteX It's actually to the point that I regret even buying the PC version.
I end up going for the Ps5 version every time I want to play the game.
