@ArchAngeL-PCXYeah I think so to. I was trying to find PSN numbers for 2042 the other day to see how many people were playing on Ps5, but couldn't find any.
Im sure Sony used to have a stat page for stuff like that in the past.
All I was able to find were the steamnumbers, and I feel fairly confident that most people didn't buy the steam version. Why anyone would want double DRM if they don't have to.
I play the Ps5 version with crossplay off, and the PC version with it on.

Also the problem is when game gets negative feedback do really impact future, atm it is "peak hour" but soon I think there will be trouble. Also good example, someone that knows about bf something and friend asks should I buy, says no. Why? Go figure lol. But spreading gets weaker every day.
- 4 years ago@BizzyVaping I can see PC numbers dropping fast. They have all kinds of performance issues that console hasn't seen. On PS4 with friends, I've had no issues either but cross play there is on with Xbox One as well.
- 4 years agoI have played all versions of the game and the Ps5 version with crossplay disabled is by far the most enjoyable to me.
Ps4/Xone - Cronus users and texture bugs everywhere + overall bad graphics
Series X - crossplay disabled means * servers and long wait times + cronus users
PC - No real technical issues on my system, but there's campers with oneshot snipers and pin point accurancy everywhere, making the flow of the game feel terrible
Ps5 with crossplay disabled - There's a nice flow and It just feels so much better to play than any of the other versions currently
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Ps5 playerbase is fairly healthy.- AuramiteX4 years agoSeasoned Veteran
I've heard this also.
And I must admit the PS5 experience is generally very good, especially after update 2.
Very few crashes, very short wait times to join games, generally stable and not many bugs from game to game that impact the match.
When you cross play with PC you exponentially increase the likelihood of coming across cheaters, why would the PS5 users want to put up with that?

X-Box shows a rapid decline in progression as only 43% of initial player base has since gone on to reach level 15. 22% have made it to level 25. Considering how easy it is to level up in this game it's a pretty bad sign of a declining player base.
Playstation is understandably healthier with 36% of players making it to level 25.
Personally considering that I'm near level 20 with hours left on my EA Play trial I wouldn't consider the PS stats to be great either.

Even if they can get the needed info from Sony they wouldnt be abe to get the info from anyone with privacy settings enabled on their profile.- 4 years ago@BizzyVaping According to PSN itself, 26.2% have the PS5 level 25 trophy down from 46.9% with the level 15 trophy.
24.3% have the PS4 level 25 trophy, down from 50% with the level 15 trophy.
This is a pretty good indicator. I remember it was way worse for Battlefront 2 on PS4. Less than 10% had the level 25 trophy during its first year, while over 50% had the trophy for finishing the campaign. That was a clear indicator of how fans pretty much rejected the launch multiplayer. Later they recovered those numbers when they added Supremacy and Co-op.
