What is the Weekly Radar?
The Battlefield 2042 Weekly Radar is all about keeping track of Weekly Missions, Community Events, Featured Experiences, and rewards that you can earn within a particular week in Battlefield 2042. Each week we'll be including a new thread within our Announcement section of the Community Forums, and you'll see the Community Team sharing it across the web so that you remain in the know about things you can expect to do within the game.
When will you post it?
You can expect the Weekly Radar to be posted every Thursday at 12 UTC when the majority of these changes take place within the game!
Can I get involved with the Weekly Radar as a player?
While still early days, we will be reaching out to regular communities that host Community Events to see if we can support them within the Weekly Radar. If you're fab at creating ingame screenshots, we'll be on the lookout to showcase your creations within some of the assets we create too!
Can I still progress towards last weeks Weekly Missions?
Yes, absolutely. Every Week we will introduce a new set of Weekly Missions, but these will be live throughout the entire season and you can work towards them at your own pace! Bonus Missions are unique to a specific week.
- 4 years ago@T0TALfps Looking forward to it, good job with the 1st season, i hope the experience (also technical) will continue this way. 🙂
- CountSero4 years agoSeasoned Ace@T0TALfps may i ask you why are you forcing players into different modes to get season pass level points?
in my humble opinion these missions should be doable in any mode you prefer.
I think forcing player into other modes to play is not a good idea especially when you only featuring Rush for four days. What is after the 4 days? Then we need to play custom made rush?
Some players are already struggling to grind enough XP for the minimum required 41+ level of the season pass and they need every weekly to get a chance to get level 100 in the season pass
Last week i laughed about a discussion related to the upcoming weekly missions and now we see in which direction this is going.
Yes, I am very critical but the scale for a season pass with a full price AAA game is higher for me than for a free to play game (Maybe you should consult with your colleagues at Respawn Entertainment who have a good season pass system in Apex Legends)
You need to consider that the player base is crumbling and the Season Pass could be a thing that more players get into the game again. So, make the grind fun and doable, now it seems more that you want to sells skips no matter what may come.
Don’t get me wrong I like BF2042 and I've have been a supporter since the release but you need keep the motivation high and the players busy.
@Adamonic wow Harzard Zone^^ this would be another mission i would pass on- Psubond4 years agoLegend
you can join the round and afk in the spawn and it will count. it isn't that big a deal
- 4 years ago@CountSero As Gamerdad pointed out, it is to get new players to try a mode they've not tried before or reintroduce it to old players who forgot or never played, to begin with. Besides, Rush matches are quick usually. I'm not a big fan of Rush but it was easy enough to hop in real quick and get it done. It was the first thing I did this morning tbh. I was like oh, super easy mission, I'm down.

Then we need to play custom made rush? It's not forcing you to do anything, you can simply do those Weekly Missions or you can continue to work towards gaining Battle Pass Points via natural play. There is always a way to earn, if you don't like doing something then you simply don't need to do it - it however is easier to earn Battle Pass Points should you decide to partake in Weekly Missions.
"What is after the 4 days? Then we need to play custom mode Rush?" - No, believe it or not, there's a lot of thought, feedback, and data that goes into these Weekly Missions not only to ensure they are fair for all, but also to ensure that they are achievable in weeks to come too.
Weekly Missions to some extent are about encouraging playstyles, teamwork, and play across modes. This is something that we had been building upon from Pre-Season Weekly Challenges, and continues on through the Weekly Missions of the Battle Pass.
