I've built loadouts around the old class system and mix and match them with different specialist depending on what is going on around me and am more than willing to change either/both if game flow decrees it.
If vehicles are smashing up the place, I don't need to know team composition to change to an anti vehicle load out to deal with them because it is self evident.
If there are loads of dead team mates persistently around me, I don't need to know team composition to change to a Medic based speacialist/ load out, it is self evident.
The 'social' side I can agree on, that has been by far the biggest issue since launch but not if you read the forums.
And don't forget, that is what I have based these posts on, years of experience around here, I know how the 'community' mind works.
@Trokey66 Kudos to you for your squad/team based style of play, I can appreciate that. I just can’t get over the drastic amount of stuff they removed and the corny crap they put in. I put 90+ hours into the game and it’s just not rewarding to play in my opinion. I’ve had about 2 rounds, in that 90+ hours, where a squad mate and I actually worked together to take out vehicles, heal or supply each other and focus on the objective. Other than that, I always feel like I’m working alone in this game which really sucks because I prefer an engineer based style of play and the vehicles in this game are hard to take out working alone. Older titles were not this bad in that respect but again, that is my experience and opinion.
I sincerely hope you continue to enjoy 2042.
