Battlefield price discussion - Too Much?
This is really typical of EA. I am not surprised theyve gone the greedy way. Half a game at full price, megatransactions, battle passes, pay to win heros. outrageous. i will get it a few months after...

Are you at least aware of the list price of this game and the income EA makes from every single purchase? could fund the game for years without having to trim microtransactions into the game.

@-DisPaterOrcus- you mean how BF5 had "funded the game for years" based on a live service barely anyone payed for, with full price game.
They make the games to make money, part of that money will go to investors and other projects. They could finance many years on only the buy in price, but the guys who control the finances don't set it up that way. The developers get more money to work on the game the more money they earn, the remainder goes to other things.
Without the live service you'll be looking at basically no DLC, a game that much like BF5 will stop getting major updates shortly after, and eventually abandoned servers... This is how it's been working in Battlefield since 2142, the BF game with low overall sales, and only one medium sized DLC.
