@KRY2X4B523P As I understand it, the season is now longer than the first 5, so they upped the grind to make it last longer. Something about “engagement blah blah blah”. If they want engagement then new maps would be the way to go! Between missions and double XP weekends I’m sure we’ll all get there.
- kregora2 years agoSeasoned Ace@ATFGunr The past seasons felt like a chore at the late weeks of the season while we were creeping to T1.
Luckily we won't have this issue with season 6, because it feels like a chore since the first match.- ATFGunr2 years agoLegend@kregora It’s the grind after L100 that feels long. I’ve managed to T1 all the seasons, playing about an hour a day min plus more on weekends. It wouldn’t feel so grindy if they gave us modes and portal experiences that we like and are fun. How many players spend hours in Gunmaster of Ages? Or Conquest of Ages that doesn’t have a 2042 component? Breakthrough is still broken, really it’s an extra grind when you play a mode you hate and frankly the game isn’t good enough for us to want to do that. IMO anyways.

Forcing engagement by increasing a grind is a crappy way to do it. Giving more experiences, more maps, and more things to do that change up the patterns is way better than running the same map over and over.
