Also having issues with my Logitech attack 3, not recognizing any button inputs or joystick movements, game is all up to date.
For the people that are still having Joystick issues. Did you go into Option>Controllers>Joystick and then map the keys. The support for Joysticks is there but none of the controls are mapped. it was pretty quick and easy to get my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro working.
I did exactly this, it's not picking up any key presses or the joystick movement, is there a list of supported joy sticks anywhere so I am not left guessing?
Same for me, I am unable to map any buttons even though I see the options.
Maybe once the game leaves beta we will get joystick support, at least now we have one playable map (just not flyable, cause of incomplete joystick support).
It's a joke this many months after release we are still waiting for joy stick support, I had high hopes that this game would be a turning point for battfield, they need to get the old dev team from the bf2 / bad company and bf4 days back designing the game, there is no way they designed this one!
Can someone from dice or EA or some kind of customer support give us a list of supported or known working joysticks????????
I did`t buy BF2042, but I have had problems with the saitek x52 due to the mini joystick on my Logitech G13. The game use the mini joystick and not the saitek joystick. Before I start BFV I have to remove the divice (controller) in Windows settings in order to get the game to recognice the saitek joystick.
That's sounds like a total nightmare and an oversight on the developers part. I'm not even going to attempt this as a work around, I do have the g502 mouse but doubt this would cause any issues. I'm going to keep bumping this thread until someone at EA or dice gets back to me with an answer, the customer support for this game has been shocking.
Me again just to say that the Logitech attack 3 is still not working... can we have a list of supported joy sticks for the mother of god!!!

I have been Reporting this Problem since Pre Alpha last Year, you hear about how well Dice is Listening to the Player Base but this only applies for anyone who does not take Issue with the Game....SAD!
Honstly can't belive I'm still having to reply to this thread, there must be some kind of community engadment person who talks to the community, even just an acknowledgement that it's an issue would go along way! I'm gonna keep reply to this thread if it takes me years...
We're past a year with no joystick support. Don't hold your breath.
No joysticks.
No Commander.
No organized teamwork of any sort.
Selling extra BS in game.
Battlefield is dead.
Dice killed it.
@p4m8fidw9m8sWell, the patch let me remap the bindings on a Thrustmaster 16000M FCS and a Microsoft Force Feedback 2. It could only see 'one' joystick device and would ignore others, so you couldn't have more than one plugged in.
But Battlefield 2042 can't see expensive VKB joysticks as joysticks.
So I tried using HidHide to hide the twin VKB joysticks and Vjoy via Joystick Gremlin to emulate a single combined joystick. However this didn't work either - Battlefield can't see the vjoy device.
Instead it's seeing the joystick as a controller, it turns out, and it can only see the one, not the pair. And only some buttons and axis, but not others. And somehow it can see 'through' hidhide AND chooses to ignore vjoy!! WTF.
I'm so sad to watch Battlefield fall apart. It used to be my nearly every evening, and our friday night with mates.
Still can't play with more than three mates.
So sad for this game.
